Privacy, in plain words

A2B is private by design. This page summarises what the app knows about you and why — distilled from A2B's public data map (docs/privacy.md in the open-source repo), which is the authoritative record.

No account needed

You can search, navigate and drive as a guest — no sign-up, no email, no phone number. Accounts are optional: they only exist to sync things you explicitly save, like Home, Work and saved places. If you never create one, our servers hold nothing that identifies you.

Coarse location, never a trail

When you search, the app sends your position rounded to about 1 km — precise enough to find nearby places, too coarse to identify a house. Searches are never stored or logged, and the server keeps no history of where you have been.

What the driver app stores and sends

Admins and promotions

Every admin action on a driver account is audit-logged (which admin, what was done, and why), and promotion views and taps are counted as daily totals only — never linked to a driver, a session, or a location.

Deleting your data

Deleting your account removes your sessions, saved places, chats and reports immediately. Anything you are unsure about, ask us on GitHub before assuming the worst.
